The creator of TDA Paris, Quentin Pontonnier, once gave an interview to Numéro.com where he stated that the price of his jewelry is “not too expensive for what it is,” in response to the critiques that many designers receive. He explains that TDA Paris is more of a costume jewelry brand than high-end jewelry, but that quality is the brand’s guiding principle. In any given collection, 4 out of 10 pieces are designed for larger-scale production, with prices below 200 euros.
The Price of Quality
It’s important to understand that at TDA Paris, the price—though it may seem high for smaller budgets—is justified. Here, you pay for quality. For craftsmanship, top-tier materials, and expert know-how. Direct inspirations from ancient Greece are a pure joy and can be seen in many of the rings and necklaces. Already worn by major French names like Damso, Jazzy Bass, and Sofiane Pamart, TDA Paris initially started in a very different place.

The brand’s creator admitted that he first promoted his brand in the nightlife scene, sometimes even giving away rings in nightclubs. He also acknowledged that his business owes a lot to the music world. He described the struggles of running a business in France, often feeling financially or creatively constrained.
Nevertheless, we love the work of TDA Paris, despite the challenges the team faces. It’s clear that the TDA team overcomes each obstacle with even more creativity. We wish them a long and prosperous future filled with stones and creations.
