Finally, after more than two and a half years, our dear Lewis Hamilton stands on the top step of the podium at his home race.

It was another Grand Prix full of emotions and surprises, which took place yesterday at the Silverstone circuit. Sir Lewis Hamilton delivered a stellar performance at the Silverstone Grand Prix yesterday, reclaiming the top spot on the podium after more than two and a half years. Racing at his home circuit, Hamilton showcased his exceptional skill and determination, thrilling fans with his flawless execution and strategic prowess. The victory was a testament to his resilience and unwavering dedication, marking a jubilant moment for both Hamilton and his supporters. His triumph at Silverstone was not just a win; it was a heartfelt homecoming, celebrated with an electrifying atmosphere and a sea of cheering fans.

A Sad End for George Russell

Let’s remember that the starting grid was dominated by our three British drivers. Even though two of the three Brits finished on the podium (Lewis in 1st place and Lando in 3rd), George Russell didn’t have the same luck as his two compatriots. The one who had taken pole position during qualifying unfortunately had to retire from the race due to a problem with his car’s hydraulic circuit. He thus finished in 19th place, just a week after taking pole in the last Grand Prix.

An Epic Battle

What a magnificent battle we witnessed. The McLarens, always competitive, took pole position several times. Norris, finishing 3rd, barely lost any places throughout the race, staying between 1st and 3rd place. He was in second place at the end of the race but was finally overtaken by Max Verstappen five laps before the end, with Verstappen finishing in 2nd place.

Yet Another Failure for Charles

The Monegasque’s misfortunes continue after the Austrian Grand Prix. This weekend at Silverstone, Charles Leclerc, who had started the race very well by climbing to 7th place, ultimately finished outside the points. The fatal mistake of this Grand Prix was switching to intermediate tires too early in the race. He finally finished in 14th place.

As for the Others…

Piastri, who was very competitive, finished in 4th place. He managed to gain pole position for a few laps and defended his place for a long time. However, his pit stop was delayed too long, causing him to lose more than 5 places. He managed to regain one place before the end of the race. Finally, Gasly took 20th place. A gearbox problem was detected on the first lap, forcing him to retire within the first few minutes.

It was a highly emotional race, especially for the fans of our driver number 44. But what a joy to see England’s favorite driver return to victory in his home country.

Here are the updated driver and constructor standings plus the full official results of the Great Britain Grand Prix :
