While Killer’s Game has just been released, it’s already becoming a must-watch on the Prime Video platform. A gathering of top actors and non-stop humor during a massacre, this latest action film will blow you away. Killer’s Game is a film you can’t miss and is one of the best movies released on Prime Video.

Killer’s Game Takes Over from Jackpot

We had written an article about a similar film, and if you liked Jackpot, you’ll love Killer’s Game. Joe Flood is a well-known hitman, even the best in his field. When he discovers that he has only three months left to live due to an incurable disease, he decides to place a contract on his own head. He plans everything to protect his partner and make sure he leaves quickly before death catches up with him. But just five minutes before the countdown to his death begins, he finds out there was a medical error. With a migraine, Joe has only five minutes to stop the contract on his life. Unfortunately, he has no choice but to fight all the bounty hunters who will try to claim the $2 million reward for his life.

A Golden Cast for Killer’s Game

And while Dave Bautista plays Joe Flood, it’s safe to say he’s well accompanied. Sofia Boutella, Pom Klementieff, Drew McIntyre, Terry Crews, Lucy Crok, Shaina West, and even Ben Kingsley are part of the cast. Each actor brings a lot to the film, though, let’s be honest, Dave Bautista is the star. His co-star Sofia Boutella plays his partner and is portrayed as a talented dancer in Killer’s Game. Regardless, the film will keep you hooked the whole time, and it’s much harder to divert your attention than it seems.

Our Special Mentions

Personally, aside from Dave Bautista and Sofia Boutella, we have a few favorites among the hitmen. Unfortunately, from the start, we knew we couldn’t get too attached, as it was almost certain they were all going to die. Still, we loved two performances so much that we had to share them with you:

  • Terry Crews: Being a fan of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I was pleasantly surprised to see Terry in this film. Of course, my joy at seeing him was boosted by his incredible performance and fabulous acting talent. He plays Love Dahl, a hitman who knows Joe Flood well and will do anything to get his hands on the $2 million reward. Even if it means setting a trap for Joe by capturing his partner, Maize.
  • The second performance we LOVED was that of Lucy Crok and Shaina West. They play an ultra-badass team of two female hitmen. And they are incredible in their roles. Unfortunately, we suspected they were doomed from the start, so don’t get too attached to their characters, even though they have the ability to captivate you with a single blink of an eye.

Unfathomable Criticisms

While doing some research on this film, we came across absolutely incomprehensible reviews. Some people claim that it’s the worst thing Bautista has ever done, or that they couldn’t focus because of his appearance—it’s just unrealistic. The film will likely appeal to you if you’re looking for a comedy/action film. If you like Deadpool or Jackpot, you’re probably going to have a great time watching Killer’s Game. Of course, it’s not an experimental film where aesthetics are the main focus, but for a fun, chill night, you should definitely consider watching Killer’s Game.

With a heart that beats to the rhythm of distant lands, Ataraxia’s passion for travel is nothing short of ferocious. She is drawn to the unusual, the offbeat, the places where most people don’t think to go. Whether it’s a hidden alley in a foreign city or a forgotten village nestled in the mountains, she finds beauty and meaning in every corner of the world.
