Don’t be fooled by the snippets you might see on NetflixLa Reina del Flow is not just a story about music. And if this guy is incredibly annoying, you’ll probably take a wicked pleasure in seeing how he gets totally crushed by his ex-girlfriend.
La Reina del Flow isn’t just about music, it’s a story of revenge, family, and respect. Welcome to Medellín.

Yeimi’s Disastrous Life Because of Manín

In the first three episodes, you’ll quickly get a sense of the characters. Whether it’s Charly’s dishonesty or Yeimi’s former naïveté, you’ll gradually discover the personalities of the characters in La Reina del Flow. Unfortunately for Yeimi, Charly’s uncle, Manín, has nothing but harm in store for her. He killed her parents, sent her to prison, kidnapped her child, and killed her grandmother while she was incarcerated. Needless to say, when the DEA offers her a deal – her freedom in exchange for Manín’s capture – Yeimi doesn’t hesitate for a second, even after Manín attempts to kill her.

A Different Kind of Telenovela

You might be thinking that with all these twists, the show can’t possibly hold up. Well, think again. La Reina del Flowstands strong and is far from being as tedious as some telenovelas. Here, revenge is everything for Yeimi. She’s lost everything because of Charly, and she’s determined to take down both him and his uncle, even if it means going back to prison.

The Attachment to the Characters of La Reina Del Flow

Undercover, since she’s presumed dead, Yeimi becomes Tammy Andrade, a music producer, and gets closer to Charly. And be warned, you could easily get attached to many of the characters: Vanessa, Charly’s daughter, Eric, his little brother (and not just that…), Juancho, or even Yeimi. You’ll get so caught up in the plot that these characters will feel familiar and close to you at every moment.

Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold

As we’ve said, this show is not just about music. It’s a tale of revenge, ruined lives, grudges, and redemption. And if watching a woman kick ass and destroy a guy’s life isn’t enough for you, you can always delve into the psychological aspect of the series and follow Yeimi on her journey of self-discovery and seeking forgiveness.

La Reina del Flow : A Treat for Fans of Spanish Music

Looking at the Netflix description, La Reina del Flow might seem like an old musical series with not much going on. Of course, don’t judge a book by its cover. Furthermore, for all those who love Spanish music, this show is packed with it. You’ll even see Sebastián Yatra in a few episodes.

As you can see, here we love feminine revenge (here’s our top “Good For Her” Revenge Movies List). We love giving power back to wounded women and seeing those who deserve it regret their actions. So, don’t wait any longer! La Reina del Flow might just be one of the most underrated shows you absolutely shouldn’t miss.

With a heart that beats to the rhythm of distant lands, Ataraxia’s passion for travel is nothing short of ferocious. She is drawn to the unusual, the offbeat, the places where most people don’t think to go. Whether it’s a hidden alley in a foreign city or a forgotten village nestled in the mountains, she finds beauty and meaning in every corner of the world.
