Abduction: A Heavy Family Secret
Abduction is the story of Nathan Harper who has always struggled to live his own life. But when his friend Karen shows him a website she found, one that shows what missing children would look like today, Nathan is shocked to find his own photo on it. He discovers that he was abducted and that his parents are not his real parents. Who are these strangers posing as his parents? Who is Nathan Harper really? Why was he abducted? He doesn’t have time to ask his parents when two men show up at his family’s home and kill his parents right in front of him.
Soon after, Nathan learns that his real mother was murdered by a man named Kozlow because she was too loyal to her husband, Martin Price, a CIA agent.
Martin calls the police, but he is immediately redirected to the CIA, where he learns that his father stole a list of 25 names from Kozlow—people who sold classified state information. Kozlow is willing to do anything to find Nathan and use him as leverage to get the list.
Unfortunately, Nathan and Karen quickly realize they can only count on each other, as the CIA agent is not interested in saving Nathan but only in retrieving the list to erase his own involvement.
Lily Collins: Another Outstanding Performance
Lily Collins plays the second lead in this film, and as always, her performance stands out. Despite being young at the time of filming, the actress has a remarkable ability to immerse herself in her roles and portray them with striking authenticity. In the role of Karen, Lily Collins plays a strong woman who faces fear and uses it as strength to do what’s necessary. She helps her friend and saves herself thanks to her resilience.
