Bandidos : Treasures Always Get Found
Determined to find the treasure his father was trying to prove the existence of, Miguel embarks on a treasure hunt with his uncle. Quickly, the two of them form a team : the Bandidos —strong but unstable—and the treasure hunt is bound to be more eventful than expected. Each member carries their burdens and secrets, and anyone could become an enemy in this group, all of whom have one goal: to find the hidden treasure.
A Tumultuous First Season
Bandidos is far from a calm series. Full of adventure, mystery, and secrets, it takes you on a journey to uncover the Maya secrets. With the help of old Spanish explorers, who didn’t exactly leave easy instructions, the team—far from being of sound mind—can move mountains or even fall freely from an airplane. Nothing stops them from discovering the location of this secret treasure.
Ester Expósito: The Queen of Bandidos
Ester Expósito, in her role as Lili, is the most delightful part of this series. In addition to her extraordinary looks, her performance is a treat for the eyes. She plays the role perfectly and effortlessly juggles the different lives of her character. It’s hard to guess what’s going on in her mind, and she inhabits her various roles with incandescent ease.
Chemistry Among the Actors
Even though some pairings might seem odd, there is undeniable chemistry among all the actors. Between Alfonso Dosal, Ester Expósito, Juan Pablo Medina, Nicolás Furtado, Mabel Cadena, Juan Pablo Fuentes, Andrea Chaparro, and Andrés Baida, the team is anything but calm. The good news is that we’ll see them all again in season 2! For those who’ve seen season 1, Lili returns with a delightful surprise. And this time, it’s not Miguel who’s the main character—it’s Lili.
Who is Lili?
Throughout the first season, while we manage to understand many of the characters, one person remains a mystery: Lili. We quickly learn that Lili is not her real name, and her past is kept a secret. In season 2, things start off showing Lili and Miguel enjoying their love at a charming hotel. Soon, Lili receives a message that brings her past to the surface, forcing her to disappear in order to save someone named Leo. We quickly uncover part of her past, and soon, every member of the team is robbed of their money. In order to get their money back and save Lili, the infamous team of Bandidos sets out on another treasure hunt, as wild as the first one.

Here at Asteria Magazine, we love mysteries and secrets, and we’re fans of treasure-hunting series. Like Dive Club(which we talk about here) or Lost Treasures: The Secret of Montezuma. And Bandidos is one of the best treasure-hunting series. You won’t get bored watching any of its episodes. Fast-paced and filled with new mysteries or twists, Bandidoswill be a series that leaves a lasting impression and takes you far from your own thoughts, so caught up will you be in the story.
